Abstract

The contribution aims to connect transcendental philosophy with the digitising practices that explore the genesis of biological forms. Starting with an insight by De Landa (2002), two apparently irreconcilable perspectives will be connected: the late philosophy of Gilles Deleuze (1981) and the morphogenetic theory of Turing (1952). The identification of clear conceptual similarities between the two authors will allow us to trace the idea of a techno-pragmatic extension of transcendental philosophy, which we will call transcendental morphogenesis.
