Every Road leads to Feuerbach? Critics of the Humanistic Reform by Lenin and by Karl Barth

Abstract

This contribution explores two diverse interpretation of Feuerbach humanistic philosophy by Wladimir I. Lenin and Karl Barth. Lenin considers Feuerbach as the father of historical materialism; Barth as the father of the kulturprotestantismus. The point is that after the first world war both Lenin and Barth break with Feuerbach inheritance. Why? Maybe because in difference ways both Lenin and Barth after the war consider the human as an eschatologi- cal reality.
